On Saturday, the 10th of August 2024, a technical session on “Data Security and Integrity in Database Management Systems (DBMS)” was organized for the students of BCA. The esteemed resource person for the session was Mr. Shah Anoop Arun Kumar, a distinguished professional with over 14 years of experience in project management and Scrum methodologies.
Mr. Arun Kumar, a Master of Computer Applications from Presidency College, Bangalore University, is renowned for his significant contributions to complex projects across various sectors. His career includes notable roles as Project Manager and Scrum Master with Dairy Farm, a leading pan-Asian retailer, and Ace/Chubb Insurance. His extensive experience in managing sensitive data, particularly in the insurance domain, underscores his profound understanding of data security challenges
During the session, Mr. Arun Kumar shared his valuable insights on the principles and best practices of data security and integrity in DBMS. He elaborated on key concepts and provided real-world examples to illustrate the critical importance of safeguarding data in today’s data-driven world.
