UBA

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development that aims to enrich Rural India. The UBA second edition was launched in April 2018. Currently, 748 institutions participate in the program and our esteemed Presidency College (Autonomous) is part of UBA 2.0 promoting the growth of selected villages as a part of its social responsibility.

There are many stages MHRD as proposed in the UBA and as a first step the college has conducted a village survey in the selected villages. As a participating institute(PI) the following are the villages selected by the college.

As a second step the college has conducted a household survey in the above-mentioned villages. All the department students have actively participated and completed the household survey which gives UBA team of Presidency College (Autonomous) to propose a plan for the development of the selected villages. The following images shows active participation of our students in collecting the data.
