International Admission
At Presidency College (Autonomous) , we have an inclusive culture making it very conducive for students from diverse nationalities to blend in and find a home away from home. We currently have students from 19 different countries across the world and the numbers are growing every year.
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria stipulated for Indian applicants are applicable to international students too.
Documents Required for Admission
- Original Marks Card (10th, 12th or equivalent course – both translation original && original marks card for Under Graduate admissions and Graduation or equivalent course for Post Graduate admissions)
- Copy of visa
- Equivalency certificate from AIU
- Copy of passport
- Residential permit from Office of the Police Commissioner, Bangalore
- Address Proof
Besides this, admission to all foreign national students are reserved until they
- Submit all relevant original documents
- Get eligibility certificate from Bangalore University
- Get equivalence certification from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
All educational programs open to Indian nationals are open to foreign national applicants.
Admission Process
- Foreign national students can apply online through the College website or can come in person and fill in the application form at the College office. Applicants are requested to provide valid e-mail id for further communication till the admission process is completed.

Bona Fide Certificate
College will issue bona fide certificate to foreign national students to apply for visa only after the admission process is completed. Those who are in absentia have to send the translated copy of their marks card, copy of their passport and first year tuition fee to get the bona fide certificate. However, admission to such students will be conditional until they visit the College in person, with all original documents and seek approval of the Principal.
Equivalence Certificate (aiu)
To obtain equivalence certificate copies of following documents along with the prescribed fee should sent to address given below. Applicants can apply directly to get certificate from AIU or can be done through College office.
Documents required to apply for AIU certificate
- Original Marks card 10th, 12th or equivalent course – both translation original && original marks card for Under Graduate admissions and Graduation or equivalent course for Post Graduate admissions

- Student visa copy
