International Human Rights Day was celebrated on 10th Dec 2021 by the Human Rights Club.

The day started with taking the human rights pledge by students .The club members went to each class room during the first hour and read out the pledge.

At 2pm an event was organised in the seminar hall , where Mr. Safeer Ahmed, Asst Professor ,C& M department was the chief speaker. The meeting was welcomed by the club coordinator Ms.Anita Rajendran. In his chief address Mr.Safeer Ahmed highlighted the importance of human rights in our lives and the responsibilities that goes with the human rights. He narrated a story to reinforce the importance of dignity of labour, to respect women and parents in our lives.

The students who won prizes in various competitions held in connection with the human rights day celebration were given away certificates and trophies.

The event was attended by Ms. AishaBanu , HOD , department of C&M, Mr. Visveshwar Shastry, coordinator C&M dept and other faculty members.

Vote of thanks was proposed by the student coordinator Gaurav of III sem BCA.
