Prudentia - Film & Communication Club

An effective communicator is an asset to any organization and Prudentia of Presidency College (Autonomous) (NAAC Re accredited with A+ Grade) aims to develop not only effective communication skills but also the overall personality of the students by providing opportunities to refine their soft skills. It focuses on developing logical thinking, creativity, innovative ideas, decision-making skills, improve group dynamics, and event management skills by organizing and conducting events.

The club organizes competitions like Elocution, Spell-Bee, Picture interpretation, Crossword, Literature, and Language quiz, Photography, Debate, Discussions, Feature writing, Caption writing, Cartooning, and Theatre Events to name a few. This club is the perfect forum for students to hone their communication and presentation skills which will transform their personality.

The functionality of the club has been bifurcated into Film Club as well as we believe that the world of cinema is not just entertainment but also a portrayal of reality.

This club is also a platform for students to explore the world of cinema as an educational, cultural, and artistic expression. The club organizes film screenings with quiz sessions, short film making contests, discussions, and analysis on art-based movies. Expert interactions and competitions on film appreciation and film reviews are conducted regularly to enable students to understand and appreciate the aesthetics of cinema. This club aims to enhance the interest and technical knowledge of all the students of the college who aspire to enter the world of visual media.
